Alexandre Desplat
One of my favorite movies in a long time. This came out back in 2007. Dark and moody, lots of mystery, and espionage, but the best part of this entire movie was by far the score. Alexandre Desplat is a very famous composer who has worked on movies including, The Painted Veil and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, which was a dope movie if you ask me. Check out this soundtrack, beautiful music for a rainy sunday.

SOLDIER OF LOVE
Sade’s highly anticipated album, which was pushed back is finally available for pre-order. It will be released worldwide on February 8th 2010. This is her first studio album since the release of Lover’s Rock in 2000, which went multi-platinum.
I’m honestly a bit speechless, I mean she still got it! After so many years, the looks, the voice, and that vibe. I was just thinking to myself when was this album going to drop, and I heard it got pushed back. But now to hear this single, and know that her album is coming out. There are just no words!
P.S. Sade is like 50. I swear, she is by far one of the most beautiful women in the world.

You can thank me later, for putting you on.
Someone mix this even more please. Wow, that would be ill.
Remember the first time…
…you heard Sade?
Her voice. The beat. The melody. It was familiar, and yet you had never heard anything like it before. It did not take long for you to feel a connection to her records. When you worked, when it rained, when you felt so happy you could scream, or so sad you had to hug yourself. There are artists who make you feel that way. Where you listen to a song and play 2:37 over and over because its your favorite part.
It’s been buzzing for months now that she is coming out with a new album. I remember a while back I was talking to Davie about her, saying how she should make a new album. His response to that was that, she would have to be heartbroken again. Think about it, he said, she always comes out with something after a breakup. There was no denying that, but even so, to make such good music, not matter what state of mind should not be taken lightly.
With that said, I am hoping the rumors are true. And also hoping that she tours again, and comes to New York again, and performs at Madison Square Garden again, because that will be something to see.
